Purple Hen Winery

Purple Hen Winery is situated on a small peninsula on Phillip Island, offering stunning views of the Bay of Western Port, Swan Inlet, Churchill Island, and Denne Bight.

The vineyard spans 11 hectares and has a strong reputation for producing high-quality varietal wines, with over 150 Medals and 20 Trophies won at Australian wine shows.

Phillip Island is known for its tourist attractions, including penguins, seals, and koalas. It also has a climate that is ideal for producing quality wines.

Phillip Island Winery

Located on the south coast of Phillip Island, this 14-acre property features three acres of vines and various event spaces available for weddings, functions, and events. The grounds offer expansive lawns, a boutique cellar door, rural views, and glimpses of the Bass Strait.

The menu includes grazing boards, share plates, main meals, pizzas, and daily specials made with local ingredients. Come in for a unique dining experience and friendly service.

The cellar door provides wine-tasting and retail wine sales, sourcing fruit locally when possible. The wine selection includes Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Moscato, and a Sparkling Chardonnay-Pinot Noir blend. The owners plan to expand the vineyard, with production expected in two or three years.

 Silver Waters Vineyard

Nestled in the heart of San Remo, Victoria, Silver Waters Vineyard presents stunning views over Westernport Bay, where the waters shimmer with a silver hue.

This quaint 7-acre vineyard, established in 1995, is home to various grapes, including Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz. A true family affair, this small-scale operation prides itself on crafting award-winning vinos with a hands-on touch.

At the cellar door, guests are welcomed into a cosy space that boasts waterfront views and a selection of cheeses, cold cuts, and nibbles. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed arvo, soaking up the scenery and sipping top-notch wine.

The Gurdies Winery 

Positioned within the scenic Bass Coast region of South Gippsland, The Gurdies Winery gazes out upon Western Port Bay. This vineyard and winery have been producing drops of the grape for more than three decades.

Crafting wines from eight distinct grape varietals grown right on the estate, their creations are born from time-honoured methods, showcasing the essence of excellent climate wine. Favourites among patrons include Riesling, Verdelho-Chardonnay Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz, with Pinot Noir and Tempranillo also on the roster, not to mention their red and white ports.

The property features breathtaking views of Western Port Bay, a roomy cellar door, and an expansive garden area with BBQ facilities - just the ticket for a family barbie.

Ocean Reach Brewing

Ocean Reach Brewing, a gem unearthed in 2016 in Cowes, Phillip Island, serves up several independent craft beers by the seaside.
